Welcome to Ranchette.

In the fall of 2007, my husband and I purchased a small hobby farm in Minnesota, USA. While I grew up on a small horse farm and have been riding since I was old enough to say “pony”, this is the first chance I have had to have my own horse on my own property. And we are quickly discovering that it is tiring, rewarding, never ending stuff. All this fresh air and healthy living can really take it out of a person.

This blog serves as a reference tool for myself and Ranchettes everywhere.
