We’ll see whether I get them in my camera sites or not. An excellent photographer friend of mine has these gorgeous up telephoto shots of them that make so jealous now that I see how small & quick they are. Thanks for the bee warning…I wouldn’t have thought of that. Maybe I won’t plant them right by the patio after all.

I put up feeders. I think they like butterfly bushes, too.

I used to know what kinds of flowers they liked. I think I’ve gone senile. One thing I remember is that things hummingbirds and butterflies like also attract bees, which is fine until you reach in to clip a flower and grab a bee….

I’ve never been able to get one in a photo. I hope you’re faster on the draw.

I can watch them all day.

Callie - sounds like we’re on the same schedule for birds & flowers, except the tulips skipped us this year.

I think they like Pansy’s too. At least, when I lived in Tundra Country, they always seemed to be in my Pansy bed… We have 4 feeders up here in the Southland, along with the geraniums. (Two feeders on the lake side, and two on the back side of the house.)

They are SO fun to watch! Glad that those wonderful little birds came back to see you!!!!

Funny, Our Hummingbirds came back this week too! Last year we had at least a dozen. They are so cool!
