What a sad ending to the Derby.  Big Brown played a smart race & easily overtook the pack in the turn for home.   However, seeing Eight Belles suddenly down on the track after the race was over was just heartbreaking.

    I didn’t get to actually see the derby itself. But I did see footage later of Eight Belles going down. How tragic…She did good though (2nd place, I think it was) but I think that will be forgotten though.
